The latest batch of pictures is from the second portion of our trip in Maui. We took 481 digital pictures in all plus underwater pictures and a couple hours of video while in Hawaii. I tried to pick five images that would look nice on the blog (it was very difficult to choose).
The first two images are from a beach in Kaanapali, just north of Lahaina during sunset.
The third picture is a lava flow cut by water in Waianapanapa State Park (road to Hana)
I believe the fourth picture is Kopiliula Falls but I may be wrong.
The last picture is near the base of the seven pools just past Hana. These pools are sometimes still and tourists and locals can swim in them but the extensive rainfall in the mountain rainforest prevented us from doing this. I actually like the rough water picture better!
